Estrella to Los Arcos 2

The route to Los Arcos was hot but the scenery was beautiful. We walked beside vineyards, saw several wineries, and met our fellow Perigrinos at a 'food truck ' in the middle of nowhere. We walked with Lisa from Glasgow for a while and found out that she had worked in Lake Louise and that she lived less than a kilometre from Stephen but had never met him before the Way. We bumped into Michele again and were able to help him out by giving him some Lanacaine cream. All in all it was a lovely day.
The alberge was quite nice with about 10 bunks in the room and we knew most if our roommates. We went to the Pilgrims' Mass and finally found out Why there was a rosary before if the masses in the previous week. The church here is Our Lady of Los Arcos and their principal celebration is the Feast of the Assumption on August 15th and it is a national holiday in Spain!
